The bar at The Royal Oak offers you a fabulous range of drinks, including a vast selection of wines from around the world, including the local wines- Poynings Grange.

Real ales are always on tap, including Harvey’s Sussex Best and seasonal ales, along with a fine selection of gins, including a range of specialist Sussex options.

We are partnered with a selection of local breweries, distilleries and vineyards.

Poynings Grange Bacchus & English Sparkings - The family run vineyard is less than 1 mile from us. Incredibly clear, crisp wines- the vines can be seen from the field across from our garden. 

CourtGarden vineyard- Ditchling White - 5 miles from here

Devils Dyke Gin- foraged on the dyke - 8 miles 

Goldstone Rum- distilled 5 miles from the doorstep

Harveys Best- brewed locally 9 miles from South Downs

Long Man Brewery, 17 miles from us but worth the travel- with 12 years in the making, regenerative farming and run using solar panels. 

In addition to the real ales, we also offer four different lagers (Cruzcampo, Amstel, Birra Moretti and Stella Artois) Guinness, Stowford Press cider and Inch's cider on tap.
